DIRECTV RC73 IR/RF Remote Control (2-Pack)

Once I got this positioned in the correct location picks up my local channels perfectly with perfect clarity. I have direct TV and due to a dispute they no longer broadcast a local channel. I got this antenna to get that and other local channels. Also a great backup when a weather event temporarily disrupts the satellite signal. Very pleased with my purchase!!!!!

Remotes were delivered much quicker than original delivery date. No directions came to pair and set up but those are easily found on the internet and part of the setup is usually specific to the type of television and cable/satellite provider. Setup took about 10 minutes of internet browsing and 5 minutes of actual set up.

We live where we can't get our "local" channels through DTV (or Dish or any of the satellite options either). We had a roof top digital antenna that went through a box and on to the TV and we could only get like 4 and sometimes 5 stations of our locals (only one station, but all of their options).

Our antenna died so we haven't had local news for a while. I came across this antenna and decided to give it a try, only really hoping to get back our one local channel. I was VERY happily surpruised by what this antenna did.

We now get 19, yes 19 channels of LOCAL television and a whole host of other stuff we didn't even know about. Granted, the extra stuff, well over a hundred I am sure, may be partially because we are using our tv instead of the stupid little digital convertor box, but without this antenna, we would never have our locals and all this other stuff we found.

I would recommend this antenna to anyone who, like us, lives out where you can't just get your local stuff and wants something better!

I had a good over the air antenna. Suddenly, I could no longer pick up local network stations. I have lived in my aparrtment for almost seven years. I purchased this antenna. I still can't pick up local network stations; however, I can pick up further away ABC and CBS stations with the amplifier. I still cannot get NBC with or without the amplifier. The antenna is a definite improvement.

I live at the beach and your location can mean you do not get channels other further away do. I purchased another brand at Best Buy that was twice the price of this one, and I only got 17 channels and I thought it was my location. I purchased another TV and then purchased this antenna for that room. After scanning I had 117 channels. Guess what I did. I purchased a another one for the other TV and I got 2 more channels on that TV. Buy this antenna, you will not regret it!
